Matteo Alberto Ponti di Sant’Angelo, a true Turinese born in 1978, has always been passionate about food and wine, travel, and hospitality. His attention to courtesy, good taste, and attention to detail has become an added value that will prove fundamental to his professional future.

In 2010, he decided to turn his calling and passion into his future career. After training as a chef in Turin, he held various positions at different restaurants and hotels throughout the city. He went to Paris, attended the “Le Cordon Bleu” culinary school, and learned from and drew inspiration from his French counterparts.

In Marbella, Spain—where he spent several years of his childhood with his family—he gained experience at a historic establishment in Puerto Banús, which he fell in love with and from which he drew inspiration to open “Languorini” in Turin, the city’s first “tapas bar.”

Since 2023, he has been in charge of managing the food and beverage services, events, and catering for one of Piedmont’s most important golf clubs, which includes an attached hotel.

Today, after two years spent organizing gala dinners, weddings, confirmations, and corporate events—which have further enriched his professional expertise and managerial skills—he has decided to return to Turin. In his new projects—first and foremost, the upcoming opening of Tender To—a café with a kitchen—he seeks to recapture that personal and intimate atmosphere that inspired him 15 years ago to embark on this path.
